Pickle Fever or Don't Let the Man Get You Down

tonight begins the festival of lights. every year around this time, i like to reflect on the important things. no, i'm not talking about cherishing loved ones or getting presents. i'm not even talking about the latke song. (who am i kidding? i'm ALWAYS talking about the latke song....) the really important thing (if you'd stop interrupting me) is the many spellings of chanukah. personally, i like the spelling that i just mentioned. that's why i wrote it first. there's a nice balance of letters without it getting too jumbled in the middle. let's explore the spellings of chanukah:

Chanuka
Chanukah
Chanukkah
Channukah
Channukkah
Hanukah
Hannukah
Hanukkah
Hanuka
Hanukka
Hanaka
Haneka
Hanika
Khanukkah

this is to name just a few. and i didn't just make these up, i stole them from a reputable source (e.g. the internet).

the other important thing is herschel and the hannukah goblins.

this is a story about a man who tricks a bunch of goblins. i'm pretty sure that the moral is that pickles are tasty, and they should be eaten straight from the jar. but if you want to find out how it ends, you'll have to pick it up at your local library!
